When visitors post comments on the site, we collect the information provided in the comments form as well as the visitors’s IP address and the browser’s registry to help detect spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be submitted to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar Services Privacy Policy is available here: After confirming your comment, your profile picture will be visible in the text of your comment.


If you post your comment on our site, you may decide to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you do not have to refill your details when leaving another comment. These cookies will last a year.

If you visit our login tab, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts the cookie. This cookie is not the content of your personal information and will be lost when your browser is closed.

How long do we retain the information you mentioned?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. This means that instead of holding them in an effective line, we can automatically validate any follow-up opinion.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information we provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except those who cannot change their username). Webmasters can also view and edit this information.

You can also request that we delete any personal information we hold about you. This does not include information that we are required to maintain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
